Inside the TV Personality’s Scary Fall and Injuries
Fieri was filming his new series “Flavor Town Food Fight” when he missed his step, causing his foot to get stuck on the threshold, causing his quadriceps muscles to suddenly tear.
The fall forced him to get into a split position and the quadriceps located in front of his thigh suffered a brutal tear. “Normally you tear that muscle at your tendon or the tendon tears the bone, but it was right in the center of the whole quadriceps muscle, and it exploded,” the chef previously explained.
The explosion reports that the extent of his injury shocked his doctors. He underwent emergency surgery in November and was subsequently confined to a wheelchair. The chief was advised not to put any weight on the leg and to begin physical therapy to speed up the healing process.
